‘A Star Is Born’ Venice Premiere Struck by Lightning, Causes Technical Difficulties

According to a report by SFgate, on Friday, at the world premier of "A Star is Born," Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper literally brought the thunder, as the venue was struck by lightning causing technical difficulties. Multiple individuals at the premier tweeted that about midway through the screening the venue was struck by lightning, causing the screen to go dark and the sound to shut off. The film premier, and the lightning strike, took place at this year's Venice Film Festival.
