Elton John Starts Long Goodbye Tour

According to Reuters, Elton John has officially begun his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” world tour that will bring his touring career to an end. John, who is now 71, is scheduled to perform more than 300 shows around the world within the next three years. Last January John first announced his desire to quit touring to focus on his family, saying his priorities had changed after becoming a parent to two children with his husband David Furnish.
