FSL India’s International Volunteer Culture Exchange and Community Service Programme:

In a small town, in a government school, the children were attending classes. All of a sudden, the whole scenario changed. Some foreigners came to town. With a paintbrush in hand, they applied colours. With a shovel, they dug into the mud. With the children, they were as children. With the teachers, they had discussions. They are involved in social concerns, which is very commendable. Through mural painting, they are bringing awareness to the people. Coming from Germany, by painting toilets walls, they are bringing awareness on saving water; by planting trees, they are showing concern for the environment. FSL India has been working with the Govt Higher Primary School for the last 8 years and have also been running their programmes in Udupi and Kundapur. FSL India's International Volunteer Culture Exchange and Community Service programme was hosted by FSL India’s Zonal Advisory Committee and Govt Higher Primary School, Heskathur, on 26th November 2019. Member of the Zillah Panchayat, Mrs SriLatha Suresh Shetty was the speaker.
