I have tried twice before in videos to put glitter in resin then apply it to a spray-painted cup, being assured by other YouTubers that it would cure with a smooth surface perfect for applying a waterslide or tattoo. Both times were a bust (see here: https://youtu.be/9JaLuchm80k ). I decided to try again after being informed I *must* use ultra-fine glitter. So I grabbed my collection of Ultra Fine glitters from Glitter Chimp and tried it again... Success!! Then I put a really big, gloriously full-color tattoo onto the cup, added some vinyl (it's a secret), and resin'd over the whole tumbler. What a beauty!!! Now I get to do it 6 more times -- but that will be in a different video (I hear the video gods sighing with relief). Here is Rae's Turquoise Turtle's video with the same tattoo: https://youtu.be/KNPoLVRPOpE

Send me a nice letter (I'll write back - promise!)!! I may even send you a small gift... maybe... you never know!

I love Swirls! Mostly swirls of color, but really any swirls at all - I think they add a beauty and grace to everything. So after I started making soap a few years ago, and needing some sort of biz name that didn't sound like everyone else's version of suds-r-us, I decided on Luxinda Swirl. Luxinda is a twist on my real name, and I quickly started putting swirls of color in all of my handmade soaps.

Now I'm branching out a bit, and I want to keep adding swirls to everything I do!
