Halsey Shares Her Experiences Protesting In LA

Pop singer, Halsey took to the streets of Los Angeles over the weekend to take part in protests.<br />Communities across the country are protesting in the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of the Minneapolis police.<br />The singer posted on social media; "A true patriot is someone who will rebel against the government if it becomes necessary".<br />According to CNN, it was one of several posts made by the singer on her official Twitter account.<br />She recounted helping people who had been injured during the protests saying; " I was treating injuries I am not qualified to".<br />She went on to say; "If you have med training pls go + standby outskirts," encouraging others to take part.<br />The artists also shared that she had rubber bullets fired at her during the protests.
