Music Videos Get Hacked on Vevo and YouTube On Monday, Billboard reported that a series of Vevo music videos were hacked by a group known as Prosox and Kuroi'sh. The cover image for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" was replaced with an image of masked people holding guns. This prompted YouTube to temporarily remove the most-watched video of all time from its platform. Vevo can confirm that a number of videos in its catalog were subject to a security breach today, which has now been contained. We are working to reinstate all videos affected and our catalog to be restored to full working order. We are continuing to investigate the source of the breach. Other affected videos included those of Drake, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and more. Oh, but don't worry. "Despacito" is back online.
