Full review of Samsung's Galaxy A51 camera after several days of testing, taking a close look at the various features as well as photo and video quality. Here's a selection of samples, all shot on the A51 and completely unedited so you can see the strengths and weaknesses of those mid-rage optics.

The Samsung A51 costs just £300 in the UK and yet sports a comprehensive set of tools, including a night mode, live focus and 4K video capture from either end. You get four camera lenses around back, including a 48MP primary shooter, wide angle, macro and depth sensor.

Photo capture isn't quite perfect, with moving subjects and HDR situations proving a bit of a problem for the Galaxy A51. Samsung's night mode isn't the best around either, but this smartphone can still capture some of the best looking Ultra HD footage at this price point. And if the lighting is on your side, that camera can still grab sharp photos with accurate colours.

My full review of this Samsung mobile is coming imminently and you can see my unboxing and tips and tricks guide for more on the A51.
