This is an extremely difficult Fluid Dynamics problem. It's very difficult to explain how complicated it is. All fluid dyanamics professors I showed this to were baffled!

Oscillations of a fluid in a pipe (kind of like a drinking straw)
What's interesting is that the deeper the straw is in the water, the more oscillations you'll have because the pressure difference is higher!
