Story
Yamuna(Suvalakshmi), one of the two daughters of an Orthodox father, Major Madhavan (Prakash Raj) is the husband of Yamuna's elder sister Ganga (Rohini), who infatuates about Yamuna after seeing a photo in a letter sent by her. Meanwhile, Yamuna and Jeevanantham (Ajith Kumar) fall in love.Madhavan then expresses his love affair on Yamuna to his wife. she attempts to go and live with her father. Madhavan s his wife and lies to everyone that she from heart attack. He then makes Yamuna and her father stay with him in Delhi to look after his baby. A couple of months later, Yamuna's father decides to get Yamuna married to Jeeva. Madhavan decides to stop the marriage by projecting Jeeva as a negative character. Finally Jeeva lands in jail according to Madhavan’s plan.Meeting Jeeva in jail, Madhavan tells him how he cruelly ed Ganga for getting Yamuna. Hearing this Yamuna plan to escape, but Madhavan arrives and hits Yamuna's father with a lamp. Does Madhavan them? What happens to jeeva? Climax reveals all the seacrets.
