If they assist 49 souls get their reincarnations in a millennium, the 3 Afterlife Guardians are promised of their own reincarnations by king of the Afterlife, Yeomra (LEE Jung-jae). Gang-lim (HA Jung-woo), the leader of the trio, selects Su-hong (KIM Dong-wook) as their client, whom he promises to be their 49th's reincarnated client, but others aren't convinced. For allowing Su-hong to get a fair trial, who wreaked havoc in the Living World by turning into a vengeful spirit, Yeomra tasks the trio to ascend an old man from the Living World, who has surpassed his allotted lifespan.
