This Bukit Panjang Badminton Class is mainly located at Senja Cashew CC.The class mainly focus on the children skill development for Fresh Beginner. The age between 5-11 age student,the children parent are mostly also playing badminton. They wish their kids to have a proper and right in basic skill no matter in footwork ,skill and stamina. We can understand as if we have a children we also want our children to be the top and always learn the perfect thing from perfect people.
But why ? Since they know how to play why they don't just teach their son by their own ? Some of the parent told us even they are play for about more than 10 years but it's just regular badminton player ,since young time even they join training before but after so many year everything is changed ,which thing changed ? The rules , BWF rugulation, even some skill example in footwork and game strategy changed. And they decided to send their kid come for training.
Is basic skill development important for children ? Yes ,it is. Why?
We have a case in this year June, one of the parent are phone call us enquiry about to sign up his children for badminton class. We asked him beginner ? The parents answer consider beginner but has been learn few lesson from other academy but totally not effect much so decided to change. We been told that the coach don't even know how to play well and not certified coach and always absent and asking other people to replace to coaching lesson for their children. So they decided to quit and join others. When the kid is came we found that full of bad habit came out especially in swing racket and footwork movement ,can see that the kids are like badminton much ,but just that all the basic had learn wrong. From Jun 2017 until today Dec 2017 we used almost 7 months to correct the children bad habit. Our coach said the kid are wasted as he is talented but wasted too much time on changing bad habit in badminton class. For this 2017 total are 12 months ,no easy ,but worth.
Why we have to always full focus on your children during the lesson ?
This is the reason why our coach always fully focus on the children even every reaction in badminton court to make sure they are doing the right thing. As the children basic skill development period are important must be eyes on them in each skill to make sure they are perfect in basic so in future they have more choice continue their badminton career with good result improvement. Some of the parent might know this once the children have well basic skill they can improve faster than others.
In this video our kid although sometime they are quite naughty but quite thankful that they all hardworking and din't came out any wrong during 2017 training. For student who are badminton attitude and not follow STBA discipline are asked to quit as we try to make sure all student in good environment and we strictly don't want them to waste their parent money. Some of the parent we know them are not easy as they have to send their children over and fetch them back on time. We can ensure that student who are with STBA Children Badminton Class have hardworking student only.
Every coach know that be a coach are easy ,coach a good player came out are difficult.
So we have to always put full effort to every student ,
Our head coach Mr.Eric Chuar always said :
"As a good badminton badminton coach is not about how many medal you have ,is about how many effort you can give to your student." Show them result to their parent when you are ready.
He always remember this and all his student are proud to have such a good coach like him.
This Bukit Panjang Children Badminton Class the class size will be 1 head coah and 4 student in a group. The coach will be our head coach Mr.Eric Chuar and strictly no such assistant coach to teach children. As he mention that children basic are important so he have to teach his own to maintain the children improvement.
For 2018 are coming soon ,Eric wish all STBA Family are healthy and keep it up on every training moment.
