USE: This stroke is played when the opponent has played a deep stroke to the rear court. It is a fast stroke, and is played like a “clip”, with very fast and short move with racket.
NOTICE: Player is slicing the shuttle but still hitting it hard. This makes the shuttle travel with speed, but when reaching the net losses speed and falls around the service line.
Focus Areas:
1. Fast and short racket swing.
2. Slicing the shuttle to brake the shuttle.
3. Making the shuttle fall just after passing the top of the net.
