Barbra Streisand tells Variety she had her dog cloned last year after it passed. The singer and actress’ dog Samantha was a 14-year-old Coton du Tulear. Streisand says cells taken from Samantha's mouth and stomach were used to make two clones, who have been named Miss Scarlett and Miss Violet. Companies like Sooam Biotech in South Korea and ViaGen in Texas offer the pet cloning service for around $100,000.
