Bill O’Reilly Claims Fox News Firing Was ‘Political And Financial Hit Job’

Embattled TV personality Bill O’Reilly is calling his firing from Fox News Channel a “political and financial hit job.” The former voice of the network opened up to “Today” anchor Matt Lauer about his dismissal earlier this year, which came after numerous sexual harassment allegations. According to the New York Times, Fox News Channel paid 13 million dollars to settle claims against O’Reilly. He told Lauer, “in 42 years, I’ve been in this business, I’ve worked for 12 companies.
