Bloomberg Politics Names D.C. News Director

Bloomberg Politics has tapped longtime D.C. journalist Kathy Kiely as Washington News Director, effectively serving as emissary between the Bloomberg Politics headquarters in New York and the Beltway bureau. Bloomberg's Tom Johnson and Mike Nizza wrote in a memo on Thursday, "It's a big job, one that is designed to combine text, video and data in new and exciting ways And we know she'll be fantastic at it because she brings a rare combination of skills.
