BROCCOLI MAN’S AMERICA’S GOT TALENT ADVENTURE – PART 1

I submitted video for America's Got Talent season 8 when the auditions came through Portland. I sent them Broccoli Man singing his theme song (a parody sung to the tune of Macho Man) recorded live at The Matador in 1999 (find it in my videos here). They invited me to come to the convention center and audition in person. I sang the Broccoli Man theme song for them live. I was not expecting to get on the show – my goal was to end up in a rejected audition montage, and that I did! When they were in New Orleans on the show, they mentioned how New Orleans looney is different from Portland or Seattle looney and showed Broccoli Man as an example of Portland looney. Cool.

I was not happy about them replacing my voice with someone else’s. Over my clip they had someone else’s voice saying “I’m a rapper”. No, AGT, "I AM BROCCOLI MAN!!!"
