Bruce Springsteen Makes Surprise Appearance at In-Law's Rock Show

One day after commanding the stage with U2 at Madison Square Garden, Bruce Springsteen made a lower-key guest appearance on Saturday: assisting his brother-in-law Michael Scialfa's band, Timepiece, during a private party at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The rock legend sang lead on two covers, Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" and Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Born on the Bayou," though he spent most of the evening in the background playing rhythm guitar.
