From their fourth album 'Willy and the Poor Boys', released in 1969. The single reached #14 on the U.S. Hot 100 Singles Chart while the album reached #3 on the Pop Albums ,#28 on the Black Albums and #10 on the U.K. Albums Chart. In 2003, the album was ranked #392 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
