Coldplay rocks Madrid
Coldplay rocked Madrid on Wednesday night (October 26), launching their world tour in support of their new album "Mylo Xyloto," a name music fans may have to get used to as the group launches a fresh assault on the world's charts.<br/> The English quartet seemed energized as they took the stage, performing a number of songs from their fifth studio album that hit shelves in Britain on Monday (October 24) and the United States on Tuesday (October 25).<br/> Those not making it to the venue, still had the chance to catch Coldplay's act, as the concert was streamed live on YouTube.<br/> SOUNDBITE Coldplay frontman Chris Martin saying (English):<br/> "We decided we'd like to do a concert which we'd broadcast on YouTube live around the world and just looked for some of the most beautiful buildings we could find and this is what we came up with, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world."<br/> Coldplay is one of the world's biggest bands, having earned multiple Grammys and album sales of around 50 million to their name.<br/> John Russell, Reuters.
