David Bowie Breaks One of Adele’s Vevo Records

David Bowie just said “Hello” to a Vevo record previously held by Adele. The rock icon, who died of liver cancer on Sunday, Jan. 10, just snagged the record for most video views in a single day. Billboard reports that videos from Bowie’s catalog were streamed 51 million (!!!) Bowie’s final music video, “Lazarus,” was the most-watched video of the day with 11 million views. Blackstar, Bowie’s final album — his 28th studio recording — is set to become his first-ever album to top the Billboard Album 200.
