Dead Day Revolution - "Vampire Blues" – Official Music Video (Short Version)

Director Name: Dean Gold
Producer Name: Dean Gold

RETRO ROCK OPERA "VAMPIRE BLUES" KICKS OFF INDIE ROCK BAND ALBUM
A departure from typical music videos, Dead Day Revolution: Vampire Blues is story-driven multi-song spanning horror themed retro rock opera. Dead Day Revolution performs on the movie screen of a vintage drive-in theater and erupts the scorcher "Vampire Blues" about a captive audience member. He’s the ex-boyfriend of a man-eater and she proverbially devours him right in his car. The nine minute film might be thought of as indie rock’s answer to Pink Floyd: The Wall, The Who’s film Tommy or Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It has been described by its director, Dean Gold, as "a depraved rock ‘n roll roller coaster to hell." The release of the single "Vampire Blues" along with the extended music video introduces the infectious snarl of indie rock band Dead Day Revolution and their forthcoming album "On Our Own."

You can experience Vampire Blues in its abbreviated version or its glorious full version. For a more bite-sized piece, the truncated version contains only the main title track “Vampire Blues”. The full version of the video includes the rocking title song “Vampire Blues” as well as the gripping “Just One Question”, the pulsating “Dancing on the Corner of Death”, and an intro with the exhilarating “Ghost”.

Artist Biography: With Dead Day Revolution it's best to just toss aside the usual hyphenated descriptions, sub-genres and categories that are all but a plague in music these days. The Los Angeles band has many stylistic colors, tones and flavors within their sound, but it all flies under the bold and proud banner of rock'n'roll.

Dead Day Revolution “Vampire Blues” Song Lyrics:
I can’t get too far from home
before I'm dead and gone!
The colors’ left your face.
You head to outer space!
You better run run run,
before you see the sun!

Sends shivers down my spine!
This happens every time!
You look at me with your disgrace
because it’s me you want to taste!
I better run run run
until I see the sun!

Now I'm really low.
I'm in your grip I know.
All that's left is blood...
Its all for you my love.
I better run run run!
Before I see the sun!
Before I see the sun!
Before I see the sun!
