Duckwrth - Kiss U Right Now (Vevo Ctrl at Home)

Born and raised in L.A., Duckwrth grew up listening to his parents' music, and that was a tad limiting. “I wasn’t exposed to too much outside gospel and classical,” he's said. Of course, South Central was hip-hop heaven at the time, the mecca of ‘90s rap, so the influence of beats and rhymes came on strong, too. A former art school student, Duckwrth has crafted an auteur aura similar to that of André 3000 or Frank Ocean. A solid jump-off point for any initiate is last year’s short film 'The Falling Man,' a four-act exploration of human fears and anxiety brought to life in an operatic setting and energized by Duckwrth’s shape-shifting vocal skills. No question, the new ‘Super Good’ album lives up to its name. Positive vibes abound - and the production is as crisp as can be. Watch “Kiss U Right Now,” a sultry tune from a super good project.
