Finals - 2012 Carlton Irish Open
The Irish Open is part of the European Circuit where players can earn essential European Circuit Ranking Points early in the season.
The Irish Open has a rich history in World badminton, with Ireland being one of the founding members of the Badminton World Federation. The event has been run uninterrupted since 1902, making it one of the oldest and prestigious Badminton events in the world.
The Irish Open returns to Dublin in 2012 after its outing to Lisburn last December. This year, the event takes place at Baldoyle Badminton Centre from 6th to 9th December 2012. Finals start at 10:00 am local on Sunday, 9th December. Home players represented includes the Olympians Chloe Magee and Scott Evans along with Sam Magee. Live streaming will be available daily and worldwide from Day 1 onwards.
