You want a beef stew or a chicken fajitas for dinner ... but wait, you need rice for that! This video will show you how to cook rice (like long grain rice, Basmati rice, Jasmine rice) in a quick and simple steps, using a small Sunbeam rice cooker. Including preparation time, it will takes roughly less than 45 minutes (actual time) to prepare from start to finish cooking white rice, time varies depending on the amount of rice you are cooking.

As mentioned above, the rice to water ratio for this white rice (long grain rice) is 1:2 ratio (1-cup rice to 2-cups water ratio), which may also apply to Basmati rice, Jasmine rice.
