Hugh Jackman, Stephen Colbert Host Global Citizen Festival

More than 60,000 fans attended Saturday's Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn in New York's Central Park. The festival was organized to coincide with the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly. The star-studded show was hosted by Hugh Jackman and Stephen Colbert, and featured performances by Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay. Among the speakers were Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Vice President Joe Biden and U2's Bono. To obtain tickets, attendees of the concert were required to volunteer their time towards realizing this effort.
