James Blunt On Ed Sheeran's Face Injury Story

A few months ago singer Ed Sheeran was spotted with a scar on his face and in November The Sun reported that the injury occurred when Princess Beatrice pretended to knight James Blunt with a sword but accidentally cut Sheeran on the cheek. Blunt has just revealed that the story was made up though. He told the U.K. magazine ShortList, "Ed was drunk, messing around, and he cut himself. We made a fancy story up, people fell for it. It was very embarrassing."
