Johnson & Johnson Looking To Absorb Actelion

Healthcare company Johnson and Johnson is eager to expand. According to Reuters the company recently upped its offer for Actelion, a swiss biotech group, in hopes of buying out the smaller company. While intial negotiations focused on a product swag, Johnson and johnson is now looking to buy Actelion outright. Johnson and johnson is hoping that by driving the price higher they will be able to fend off competitors like France's Sanofi and Switzerland's Roche who may be interested.
