Whats up KatyCats and ClevverMusic lovers, welcome back. Friends, it seems Katy Perry has taken a cue from Beyoncé, hooking up with a partnership deal with soda brand Pepsi. As you already know Katy is set to perform her new song "Roar" at the upcoming 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, but now we know she will be closing the show! Lady Gaga opening and Katy closing? Thats amazing. And to make Katys performance unforgettable she will perform for fans from an undisclosed location, not at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn where the show is taking place. But theres more! The best part is that in preparation for the VMAs, Pepsi is letting fans tweet-to-unlock audio samples of two songs from Katys upcoming "Prism" album. Fans will get a chance to listen to the two songs and decide themselves which one is Katys 2nd single and that song will get released early on iTunes on September 17 (uh oh isnt that the same day Britney Spears "All Eyes On Me" single drops?) So how do you get to listen to the songs? You tweet with the hashtag #KATYNOW to unlock clues, so far the song titles have been revealed as "Dark Horse" and "Walking On Air". And as the tweets continue well get song lyrics unlocked and then finally a listen of the two new songs. You can track the progress at katyperry.pepsi.mtv.com which is also where youll be able to hear the new songs. Once the songs are unlocked fans will vote for which one is the new single.
