Lady Gaga Joining ‘A Star Is Born’ Remake

Lady Gaga is reportedly in negotiations to star in Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut, a remake of the 1937 film A Star Is Born. Cooper, who will also co-star in the movie, has wanted Gaga for the role for some time. Beyoncé was originally cast for the role but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts with her recent tour. The story follows a young actress trying to make it in Hollywood; she’s guided to stardom by an actor whose career is fading.
