Lady Gaga protested outside Trump Tower as Donald Trump was declared the next president of the United States
Hilary Clinton may have lost the election, but Gaga isn’t going down without a fight
A fight for love. ‘LOVE TRUMPS HATE’ read the sign that Gaga proudly held as she peacefully protested outside Trump Tower in New York early this morning after Donald Trump won the presidential election. Gaga, who has been a very vocal Hilary Clinton supporter throughout Clinton’s campaign took to Instagram to share a photo of herself protesting, hanging onto the side of what appears to be a sanitation truck outside the tower, captioning the photo “I want to live in a #CountyofKindness #LoveTrumpsHate He divided us so carelessly. Let’s take care now of each other.
Gaga also changed her Twitter handle to #CountryOfKindness, and it is believed that Gaga spent her entire night with fellow Clinton supporters, on top of campaigning for Clinton this past Monday in North Carolina. Gaga addressed the crowd before performing ‘Come to Mama,’ a song about unity, off her new album, ‘Joanne.’
