Welcome back to your music news on ClevverMusic. Yesterday the Internet buzzed when a legit sounding Lady Gaga song leaked on the interwebs. Weve had supposed Gaga ARTPOP tracks leak online before, but this one really sounds like everything we expect ARTPOP to be. So what is it? Theres been much talk over the past year of her upcoming song called "Burqa" but now were made to believe its actually called "Aura". Upon first listen the upbeat song reminds us of her track "Americano" with an electronic dub step flair. And the lyrics? Theyre a little disturbing. Gaga opens with, "I killed my former and left her in the trunk on highway ten/ Put the knife under the hood, if you find it send it straight to Hollywood." Followed by some creepy Ha Ha Has from Mother Monster! Later in the track, the pop song hook is sexy and very catchy singing, "Do you wanna see naked, lover?/ Do you wanna peek underneath the cover?/ Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura?" Honestly, critics can bash the track all they want, but we like it. Its creative, modern, and just what she promised on ARTPOP: experimental dance songs. But theres just one bad part: Lady Gaga wants all these "Aura" leaks taken down. She usually takes a back seat to online drama but this time shes speaking out. She told a fan on her social site LIttleMOnsters.com"please take these down as much as possible thank you!" And we have noticed most people respecting her wishes and taking down the leaks. Were just happy we heard it before they were all taken offline. Further, weve heard rumors from an Interscope label insider the song is an old demo, not the real thing. Or maybe the label is just trying to throw us off. We do know from a tweet from Gaga last October the song "Burqa" was produced by DJ Zedd, so maybe it is "Burqa" after all and not "Aura"?
