Kortney Pollard aka Mali Music is a man of many talents. The 32-years-old singer has spent the better part of the last decade earning fans devoted to his contemporary mix of gospel and R&B. Vids on his YouTube channel, like the Jhené Aiko assisted “Contradictions,” and his 2014 breakout “Beautiful,” have been viewed tens of millions of times. “Music is just a beautiful thing that plays on the emotions and the spirit,” he says. “It can transport people.” Indeed, Mali Music put that process into action in our Ctrl studio with “Let Go.” It’s not hard to notice the magnetic stage presence; he's a singer who tells a story both vocally and physically.
