Miley Cyrus Criticizes Supergirl

Miley Cyrus has made it clear she is not a fan of CW's Supergirl. When speaking with Variety, Cyrus criticized the title of the popular CW show for perpetuating gender stereotypes. Cyrus stated "For example, there’s a show called “Supergirl. I think having a show with a gender attached to it is weird and One, it’s a woman on that billboard — it’s not a little girl." Some disagree as Supergirl has been praised for its feminism themes.
