MMDA Holy Week Preparations
The MMDA are once again gearing up for Holy Week which usually means a mass exodus of Metro Manila and a huge increase in the number of commuters.

Today they cleared the areas surrounding some of the bus terminals that are expected to encounter a heavier volume of traffic and congestion during the Holy Week period.
After the operation, I went to SM North to ride the modernized electric jeepney from Star8. A transport operator is planning to replace 20 of his old-style jeepneys with these newer eco-friendly versions which are also much more comfortable.
Right now he just has two units for testing and his route is SM North to Monumento. My understanding is that it's a very profitable route because of the high volume of commuters.
