MMDA Operation

An MMDA operation to clear the roads of illegal parking and to clear the sidewalks of various obstructions.

The MMDA have multiple teams that operate in different parts of Metro Manila every day. The idea is that they clear areas based on complaints and then the local units from the Barangay and City will maintain it.

But the reality is, many of those at the local level continue to issue permits and clearances which directly conflict with the efforts of the MMDA.

And for some reason, people don't get mad at those who are issuing the permits or those who are failing to maintain their areas at the local level. They get mad at the MMDA. Which is mind boggling to me.
