MMDA TFSO Operation

An MMDA operation that starts with illegal parking along Roxas Blvd. Service Road.

They also return to Taft Avenue to ticket vehicles waiting at the illegal terminals that cause so much traffic in that area.

They capture a number of motorcycles where the driver or passenger isn't wearing a helmet. Thankfully most of them had a drivers license.

We talk about the effectiveness of City and Barangay employees when it comes to market management and keeping sidewalks and roads clear of vendors.

We also talk briefly about a motorcycle which had two parents with helmets, a child without helmet and a baby without helmet. More importantly how they were able to ride past LGU enforcers without being stopped.

Next we have a man who claimed to be a Police officer but later retracted it. There has been a huge increase in the number of people claiming to be Police officers when stopped by the MMDA. Most of the time after some questioning, they admit they're NOT Police officers and were just trying to avoid a ticket.

The team issued numerous tickets to UV Express and Multicabs that make an illegal terminal along Roxas Blvd Service road. This is a daily occurence.

The team then return to Roxas Blvd service road and issue more tickets for illegal parking. With two long discussions with one man claiming to be retired PNP and the other claiming to be the son of a retired PNP general. Both wanted to be released without tickets.

The team finish up with some tickets for illegal parking and obstruction along EDSA.
