More Fingerprints Compromised by OPM Data Breach

On Wednesday the Office of Personnel Management disclosed that another 4.5 million fingerprints have been compromised by a data breach.<br />Announced in June, intruders stole 21.5 million personnel records after hacking into OPM.<br />Among the records are background checks for security clearance and fingerprints.<br />Initially the agency thought only 1.1 million fingerprints had been affected by the breach.
