NFL Players Reject CBA & 17 Game Season. The NFL announced it passed a new collective bargaining agreement for the players and NFLPA to vote on. The new CBA included a 17 game season, plus the addition of another team into the wild card round of the playoffs giving only one team in each conference a bye week.
