Nottingham Caribbean Carnival with banned rapper. Aug 2012

IMO, the Nottingham Caribbean Carnival was good!... Great atmosphere with everyone in party mood, a selection of thrill rides, religious singers, various food stalls, Kemet FM radio and the brilliant carnival precession that began in Old Market Square and ended up at the Forest Recreation Ground...
Here comes the BUT... The event was swarming with Security, Police and CCTV. The whole area was fenced off and everyone on entry was searched and electronically scanned.
A rapper was live on air (Kemet FM Radio) he was soon silenced for including profanities. I couldn't understand a word he was rapping about, but the swearing stood out a mile... ha ha ha!
