Pablo Sandoval Benched for Liking Photo on Instagram

Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval was benched in Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Braves for violating the team’s social media policy. Red Sox players are not allowed to use any form of social media during games—no matter how minuscule it may be. Players can be benched for simply clicking the “like” button, and that’s exactly what happened to Panda Bear Pablo. Sandoval admitted to manager John Farrell and GM Ben Cherington that he liked photos of women on Instagram while using the bathroom during Wednesday’s game.
