Patriarchy and the Postmodern/Neo-Marxism Scare |
In the latest video in the ongoing saga, we cover the alleged necessity of the patriarchy, the existential threat of postmodern/Neo-Marxism, and a bunch of Derrida.

General comments, gradually more specific:
- To the surprise of no one, my Russian pronunciation is still questionable. Along with my French.
- For a lot of paragraphs, especially when we reach Derrida, picture the sorts of comments you may see from an instructor. Several months in to the course, the things being turned in still have terrible source handling, so there is just a beleaguered "Citation Needed" in the margin for an entire paragraph. That's about where I'm at.
- We talked a little about categorization in previous videos, but I am planning on doing a full cognitive psych theories of categorization video at some point. Why this didn't occur to me as something to discuss in this video until I'm uploading it is something that will remain a mystery.
- Misread a word in a quote at the 27 minute mark. My voice is trashed right now, so it's going to stay misread. Apologies.
