This Super Bowl 2022 Halftime Show Promo Has Us Hyped To See Raps Biggest Icons
The super bowl is just around the corner and after seeing this promo we are HYPED for the halftime show… but first…
In a new teaser, entitled “The Call,” assembling rap's biggest legends is a game of chess, not checkers.
Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar all answer Dr. Dre’s call to assemble and perform together on one of the worlds biggest stages.
The trailer starts with Eminem, facing off against his rap alter ego, Slim Shady, then moves to Snoop Dogg driving in his car while jamming out to the song “The Next Episode.”
We then see Mary J Blige getting ready in FULL glam, and then Kendrick Lamar appears, writing down lyrics feverishly for his next album.
VP of Marketing at Pepsi, Todd Kaplan, said in a statement “Now that we are just weeks away from the most anticipated Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show performance of all time, we’re bringing fans closer to the magic of what will certainly be a colossal moment in pop culture history.”
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar are coming together to perform at this year’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show on Feb. 13.
