Peter Capaldi Felt Pressure Playing Doctor Who

Peter Capaldi has opened up a little further on his departure from Doctor Who. He admitted that the demands of being the face of a brand played a part in his decision to leave. He said it was "a lot of work" and that "there’s a lot more than just acting" involved with taking on the role. Capaldi portrayed the show’s iconic Time Lord from his debut in 2013’s “The Day of the Doctor” until the final, emotional moments of the 2017 Christmas special.
