What do you think? Are they innocent and unlucky or is there something more?

Today the MMDA had a joint operation in Bagong Silang (Brgy. 176), Caloocan City with the Philippine National Police, Barangay Traffic Enforcers and City traffic enforcers.

The PNP stopped a motorcycle, initial violation was no crash helmet and driving in slippers.

The bike had no plate attached but when the driver opened the compartment, there was a plate inside. That plate didn't match the registration document that was shown.

Also inside the compartment was rope and tools, including what looked like an ice pick.

The passenger removed a wallet from his pocket and inside that was a small plastic bag. Inside that plastic bag they found what is suspected to be methamphetamine or Shabu.

The sachets will be tested to verify if the substance inside is really methamphetamine or something more innocent like baby powder.

At one point the man tried to push his way through the officers, as if he might escape or potentially access something that could be used as a weapon. That's why they took action to restrain him.

Congratulations to PNP for catching these guys.
