Shakira's Waka Waka (Esto Es Africa) bellydance fusion and drum solo performance by Cassandra F

My performance from Dancing in the Park in Guelph put on by the Flying Dance Company.
I chose this song because I love Shakira and in honour of Fifa World Cup Soccer. I opted for this costume because I felt that the bright colours and flowers suited the song best out of all of my costumes and I wanted the dance to represent the energy, and passion that World Cup Brings. WOOO HOOO VIVA LA BRASILIA lol.
That being said, GOOD LUCK to all the nations participating in World Cup!
It was actually my first time dancing ot these songs as I am back home on th efarm and haven't had much of a chance to practice but I listened to them in the car a lot lol. I did this as sort of a fun challenge for myself lol.

My skirts are homemade by my grandmother. She does not make them to sell them. You can get fairly similiar ones though from Dahlal or other bellydance websites you want to search chiffon full circle skirts with 2 side slits. I wear one skirt over another. Hope that helps.
