Singer Cliff Richard Wins Privacy Battle Against BBC

British singer Cliff Richard has won a High Court privacy case against the BBC.<br />CNN reports that Richard was awarded roughly a $250,000 in general damages.<br />A further hearing to decide what special damages he should be awarded.<br />Richard sued the BBC over coverage of the police search at his home in August 2014.<br />The search took place after a sexual assault allegation.<br />Richard denied the allegation and he has never faced charges.
