Learn how to make a showstopping salmon platter for your dinner guests with this simple preparation guide. Simple and elegant, this platter allows your guests to pair salmon with whichever flavour they prefer. Ingredients: 8 oz of smoked salmon;<br />1 lemon, thinly sliced;<br />1/2 cup of red onions, finely diced;<br />2 hardboiled eggs, whites and yolks minced;<br />3 tbsp of capers;<br />1 container of cream cheese, room temperature;<br />cocktail-size rye or pumpernickel bread;<br />fresh parsley and dill sprigs. Method: 1. Lay out the smoked salmon on a plate or tray.<br />2. Arrange the lemon slices on the platter around the salmon.<br />3. Plate the onion on the platter near the salmon.<br />3. To mince the eggs, halve and remove the yolks.<br />4. Run the egg whites through a coarse strainer over the platter and repeat with the yolks.<br />5. Plate the capers, cream cheese, cocktail-size rye and pumpernickel bread.<br />6. Garnish with some herbs like parsley and dill.<br />
