South Korean pop stars arrive for the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards

(1 Dec 2017) SOUTH KOREAN POP STARS ARRIVE FOR THE 2017 MNET ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS
The 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has arrived at its finally stop, Hong Kong, on Friday December 1st.
Produced by a music television channel in South Korea, this year's event is the first South Korean awards show to be held in three different cities.
The show first kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25, Tokyo on November 29 and then arrived in Hong Kong for the grand finale.
This year's show is, which has the theme "Coexistence," attracts K-pop's most ardent fans from all over Asia.
One fan was Nadrah, a 28 year old young professional, who traveled from Malaysia to watch the show.
She was introduced to K-pop by friends and says what she loves most about it are "the dance moves, the choreography is unique and the songs are very catchy and upbeat."
The sight of the boybands on the red carpet drew deafening screams and cheers Nominees of the Best Male Group included EXO, BTS, GOT7 and Wanna One - who all dressed in variations of the black tuxedo.
South Korean heartthrob and newly wed, Song Joong Ki is the host of this year's ceremony.
MAMA began as a music festival and evolved into a music show.
The winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts while some categories are voted by fans on line.
