Spray on Stone Epoxy
Spray on Stone Epoxy is a faux technique that looks better than exotic stone and granite when you can add veins and fracture lines wherever you wish. Stone Coat Epoxy is Eco friendly, easy to DIY, and a fun project to go over existing surfaces. Don't settle on design, get the real natural stone look on a budget!
Color Recipe:
Behr Premium Plus paint and primer in one: Natural Gray
Fog on Black and metallic brown Rustoleum spray paints as undertones
Mix SCC Epoxy and pour some into three accent color cups, tint these cups with SCC Hazelnut and White base color tints, and SCC copper metallic powder.
Pour clear epoxy onto the project and trowel it out.
Pour The white base color tinted epoxy onto the project and trowel it in, then chop the surface.
Randomly add the hazelnut and copper tinted epoxies to your project and meld these in with a paint stick.
Fog on Black Rustoleum spray paint and immediately mist with SCC brown metallic powder mixed with 91% IPA.
Repeat this with SCC Deep silver and gold metallic powders mixed with 91% IPA
Add a little of the white tinted epoxy for contrast as veins or however desired.
Use a heat gun or torch to move and meld color.
Torch 3x to remove air bubbles.
