This is one of the last REAL COOL RECORD STORES- STAR RECORDS in Oshawa,Ontario in business since 1974 and still going strong. There is no other record stores that compares to the small independent ones the are struggling to survive. For those who love music I suggest you go visit your local indie-record shop and support it.
They're the only remaining music stores that sell real music and suggest good music as well. I have been dealing with this store since I was about 8 years old,yep that's right 8 years old, since 1980-81,my oldest brother was going there long before I was.They have watched me grow up,and I will seriously miss this store,its my home away from home where I meet the nicest people and is a melting pot of music lovers and thinkers alike, unlike HMV and other corporate boxstore chains there is a sense of connection with others when in this store or any other indie-record shop for that matter and is one of the COOLEST STORES AROUND PERIOD!......and oh yeah only the cool people know of such stores.
